Joy to the World
Since we are thisclose to Thanksgiving, it is time to start thinking about holiday decorating. I know I am planning to start this weekend. I love pulling out my Christmas decorations that I have collected over the years. When I travel I purchase ornaments as keepsakes and I enjoy the memories those bring too. Do you get into the holiday spirit by decorating?? Here are some great ideas I found that are inspiring me this year.
Holiday Card Display
Do this one yourself, here’s the how to.
If you are looking for holiday cards to send I found this great Etsy shop I am planning to order mine from Anna!
Ornament Ideas
Love the idea for making strips out of a wedding invite or birth announcement and filling clear class ball with it…pretty and memorable.
This is a cute idea for homemade ornaments using cookie cutters, old photos and Christmas paper. Martha shows us how here.
This looks a little more complicated but what a creative way to use acorns and some sparkle to make a great ornament.
I also love this garland idea. You could also use green, gold, or red ribbon and/or spray paint the pine cones in holiday colors.

Wreaths
I love this monogram idea! I think I am going to copy this for my place, but I am going to use a metallic gold letter instead.
This is a little busy for my taste but there is something so much fun about this creative wreath.
Simple and Classic.
And if you have little one’s I loved this idea for the big countdown.
Happy decorating!

I am going to show Melissa the wedding invite one. It’s a great idea.
Love the glass ornament with birth announcement strips idea! Now we just have to see if I am crafty enough to pull it off.
